Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 18, 2026

This policy explains how Star Automations, a DBA of Star Ultimate LLC (“Star Automations,” “we,” “us,” “our”), collects, uses, shares, and retains personal information. It covers this website, our consulting engagements, and the text messaging programs we operate — including our missed-call text-back service.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to three groups of people:

  • Visitors to starautomations.ai
  • Client businesses that engage us for consulting or automation work
  • Callers and consumers who contact a business that uses our missed-call text-back service and receive a text message in response

2. Mobile information and text messaging

This section governs all mobile phone numbers, text message content, and consent records handled through our messaging programs.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services to us — such as customer service providers, hosting providers, and messaging or telecommunications providers — is permitted solely so that we can operate and support the service you contacted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent.

How consent is obtained

You provide consent to receive text messages by placing a phone call to a business that uses our missed-call text-back service. When that call is not answered, an automated text message is sent to the number you called from, so that the business can respond to your inquiry. We do not add callers to marketing lists, and we do not send promotional messages under this program.

How to stop receiving messages

Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. You may also reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at info@starautomations.ai.

3. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to operate the service. For each category below, we state what it is, why we hold it, and how long we keep it.

Name

Your name, when you provide it during a text conversation, on a form, or during a call. Used to address you correctly and to give the business context before it responds to you.

Retention: 24 months

Mobile phone number

The number you called from, or a number you provide to us directly. Used to send the reply message, continue the conversation, and honor opt-out requests.

Retention: 24 months

Message content

The text messages exchanged between you and the automated assistant or the business. Used to understand what you need, respond accurately, hand the conversation to a human, and maintain a record of the interaction for service quality and dispute resolution.

Retention: 24 months

Call records

Metadata about the inbound call: the calling number, the number dialed, date, time, duration, and whether the call was answered. Used to trigger the text-back, prevent duplicate messages, and monitor whether the system is working correctly. We do not record or transcribe the audio of your call under this program.

Retention: 24 months

Client business contact information

For businesses that engage us: name, business email address, phone number, company details, and project information needed to deliver and support the work.

Retention: duration of the engagement, plus any period required by tax and contract law

Website and server data

Our hosting provider records standard server logs, which can include IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and reliability purposes.

Retention: per our hosting provider’s standard log retention

What this website does not do

This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. Two things are worth naming plainly: loading this site requests fonts from Google Fonts, which makes your IP address visible to Google, and clicking “Book a call” opens Google’s scheduling page, where Google’s own privacy policy applies.

4. How we use information

  • To send the automated reply when your call is not answered
  • To understand your request and route it to the right person at the business
  • To respond to questions, quotes, and support requests
  • To operate, monitor, test, and improve the reliability of the systems we build
  • To honor opt-out requests and maintain proof of consent
  • To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your mobile information for marketing or promotional purposes, and we do not share it with third parties or affiliates for those purposes.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only in these situations:

  • With the business you contacted. If you call a client business and receive a text back, your message and contact details are shared with that business so it can help you. That business is responsible for how it uses your information after that point.
  • With subcontractors and service providers who support the service under contract: hosting and infrastructure providers, messaging and telecommunications providers, artificial intelligence providers used to draft replies, email routing providers, and scheduling providers. They may use the information only to perform services for us.
  • When required by law — to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal obligation, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of any person.
  • In a business transfer — if the business is sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

Mobile information and text messaging consent are excluded from any sharing outside the support-services purpose described in Section 2.

6. How long we keep information

Message content, mobile phone numbers, names collected through the messaging program, and call records are retained for 24 months, then deleted or de-identified. Records of consent and opt-out requests are retained for as long as required to comply with telecommunications regulations and to demonstrate that we honored your preferences. Business records are retained as required by tax and contract law.

7. Your choices and rights

  • Stop messages at any time by replying STOP.
  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of information that is wrong or out of date.
  • Request deletion of your personal information, as described below.

We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.

8. How to request deletion of your data

Email info@starautomations.ai with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.” To help us find your records, include:

  1. The mobile phone number involved
  2. The name of the business you called, if you know it
  3. An approximate date of the call or conversation

We will confirm receipt and complete verified requests within 30 days. One honest caveat: if you have opted out of messages, we keep a minimal record of your number on our do-not-contact list. Deleting that record entirely could cause you to be messaged again, so we retain it specifically to keep honoring your opt-out. Data already shared with the business you contacted must be requested from that business directly, and we will tell you who to contact if you ask.

9. Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections, and reputable infrastructure providers to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Text messages travel over carrier networks that we do not control.

10. Children

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The revised version will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes affecting the messaging program will be reflected here before they take effect.
